1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Fine Print Fighters ("the Service"), operated by Fine Print Fighters ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Important Disclaimer: Not Legal Advice

The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze text you provide and generate observations about contract language. These observations are for educational and informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional legal counsel.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• The Service does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal recommendations of any kind.
• No output from the Service should be interpreted as legal advice or as a recommendation to take or refrain from taking any action.
• AI-generated analysis may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or misinterpretations of contract language.
• The Service may fail to identify important or material provisions, risks, or issues in any document.
• Contract interpretation depends on jurisdiction, context, negotiation history, and other factors the Service cannot assess.
• You should always consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction before signing, modifying, or relying on any contract or legal document.
• Any decisions you make based on the Service's output are made entirely at your own risk and discretion.

3. Description of Service

Fine Print Fighters provides an AI-powered tool that analyzes text and documents you submit. The Service generates observations about contract clauses, assigns risk indicators, and provides general educational information about contract terms. The analysis is generated by artificial intelligence and has not been reviewed by a licensed attorney.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

5. User Accounts

You may create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

6. Payments, Refunds, and Billing

Certain features require payment. Prices are displayed at checkout in U.S. dollars. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor.

• Pay-Per-Scan: A one-time payment that unlocks the full analysis for a single contract scan. Non-refundable once the report has been delivered.
• Pro Subscriptions: Recurring payments (monthly or annual) that provide unlimited access. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect active subscription periods.

7. Your Content and Documents

When you upload or paste content into the Service, you retain all ownership rights to that content. You grant us a limited, temporary license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the analysis. We do not claim any ownership of your documents.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit any content you provide, and that doing so does not violate any third party's rights, including confidentiality obligations, intellectual property rights, or contractual restrictions.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to provide legal advice or legal services to third parties.
• Represent or imply that the Service's output constitutes legal advice.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms.
• Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written consent.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service's output without our written consent.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any analysis will be accurate, complete, or reliable. We do not warrant that the Service will identify all risks, issues, or problematic provisions in any document.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Fine Print Fighters, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your reliance on the Service's output; or (d) any content you submit to the Service.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and content (excluding user-submitted documents), is owned by Fine Print Fighters and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written consent.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 2, 9, 10, 11, 14, and 15 survive termination.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Maryland, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

15. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Fine Print Fighters regarding the Service.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
• Modifications: We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
